Materials & Specifications
• Hand made by Amish craftsmen in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• Choose from solid 3/4” thick vinyl board construction or ¾” thick Vinyl-Cedar board construction
• Vinyl is maintenance free and rot free and it will not cup or decay
• ACRE Vinyl-Cedar is maintenance free, has a neutral cedar appearance and is easy to stain or finish with water based paints or stains
• 4-sided bell style roof
• Hand laid 24 gauge copper roof

The engineering of the cupola was very good and the packaging for shipment was clever and very effective. I would recommend Cupolas Direct to prospective purchasers. I am a very satisfied. customer. The finial that I ordered sure sets off the cupola. This cupola was a replacement for an old wooden cupola that the builder had installed when the house was built in 1988. This cupola looks a lot nicer than the original cupola..

new cupola12/12/23I am extremely pleased with the Durham S2DV-B cupola. I am glad that my wife and I decided to get the Dalvento “Florentine” final. The final really sets off the copper roof. The cupola replaced a wooden cupola that had been installed when the house was built in 1988. The old cupola was in need of replacing when I was having a new roof put on the house.
I am glad that I paid for “liftgate service”, and the truck driver was nice enough to use his motorized pallet jack to put the packaged cupola in my garage. The cupola was impressively packaged on a pallet and it arrived in perfect shape. I was the one who unpacked the shipment and prepped it for installation by installing the corner braces on the lower portion, installed the final mount, and put 2 coats of the clear coat lacquer on the copper roof and finial. The roofing contractor installed the cupola.
I had a construction background from my younger days, and I was very pleased with the design of the cupola and the neat way the parts nested for shipping. At my age, I doubt very much that I will ever need another cupola from you. I think the vinyl cupola will outlast me.
