SHIPPING & DELIVERY:

We offer ground shipping on all of our products being shipped within the 48 contiguous states.  If you live in Hawaii, Alaska or Canada, please contact us for a shipping quote.  The automatic shipping quote is not guaranteed in certain conditions. Extreme rural delivery addresses, island locations, and/or limited access areas may incur extra shipping fees. We would notify you prior to delivery if that's the case. Once your product has left our shop, we will email you tracking information for your order.  Motor freight delivery requires the consignee to be present at the time of delivery to inspect, accept & help unload the shipment.  Lift gate service is available for any motor freight delivery at a cost of $50-$75.  On most shipments, with the exception of the 60” and larger cupolas and some of the larger saddle cabinets, a lift gate service is not needed and generally not recommended because of the additional cost. 

CUPOLAS – 26” and smaller cupolas are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx.  28” and larger cupolas are shipped via motor freight.  Normal build & ship time is 2-3 weeks.  Allow 2-5 business days across the US for transit time.

WEATHERVANES & FINIALS – all units are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx.  Most units are stocked and will ship within 3-5 business days.  Allow 2-5 business days across the US for transit time. 

SADDLE CABINETS & BARN FURNITURE – most pieces are shipped via motor freight, with the smallest pieces shipping via UPS Ground or FedEx.  Normal build & ship time is 1-2 weeks.  Allow 2-5 business days across the US for transit time. 

LAMP POSTS & OUTDOOR DÉCOR – all units are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx.  Most units are stocked and will ship within 3-5 business days.  Allow 2-5 business days across the US for transit time. 

RETURNS: 

All returns need a return approval from Cupolas Direct customer service before returning any product.  Returns must be made within 30 days of order receipt.  Please inspect all items immediately upon receipt.  All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, with the exception of damage or manufacturing flaws.  Cupolas Direct is not responsible to pay any of the shipping fees incurred when returning a product to us.

CANCELLATIONS: 

Contact us at 717-808-5711 or by email at cupolasdirect@gmail.com if you want to cancel your order. All products are built to order and quick ship or rush orders are built before all others. If your order hasn't started to be built or hasn't shipped, we can easily cancel your order and process a refund. If your order is in the process of being built or has already shipped a 20% restock fee will be deducted from your refund. Cupolas Direct is not responsible to pay any of the shipping fees incurred when returning a product to us. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

DAMAGES:

VERY IMPORTANT:  Please inspect all packages or crates for any visible or concealed damage immediately upon receipt. 

For motor freight deliveries:  Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Be sure to thoroughly inspect the shipment ASAP. Note any damage to the packaging or interior contents on the delivery receipt before signing. If damage is found, please refuse shipment and contact us immediately. If possible take photos of the damage for our records. We will handle the insurance claim and get a replacement sent out to you as soon as is reasonably possible. If damage is found after the delivery receipt is signed and the delivery driver has left, you will be responsible for the claim and any additional charges that may occur.  Cupolas Direct will take full responsibility for filing the claim and the replacement, repair, return, etc. when damage is noted at the time of the attempted delivery and if the delivery is refused.   If for any reason you cannot inspect the package at delivery time be sure to note SUBJECT TO INSPECTION on the delivery receipt with your signature.  

For UPS/FedEx deliveries:  please inspect the shipment for visible or concealed damage within 7 days of order receipt.  If damage is found, please contact us immediately and send photos of the damage, if possible.  We will send replacement pieces as soon as it’s determined what will be required to repair the item.  Be sure to retain the shipment and all packaging material in the event the shipping company requires an inspection.  If damage is found after 7 days of receipt, you will be responsible for the claim and any additional charges that may occur.   Cupolas Direct will take full responsibility for filing the claim and the replacement, repair, return, etc. when damage is reported within the noted time frame. 

SHORTAGES:

Any missing parts, pieces or shortages in your order must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

When purchasing products from CupolasDirect.com, the buyer understands that these provisions will cause him/her to be personally liable for his/her act or failure to act during the installation or use of these products.  The cupola installation instructions are generic guidelines for a typical and standard installation.
